NOTE: Before running the installer, be sure you have updated your Windows Operating System.  The software will not install properly if Windows is not up-to-date.


NOTES: 


  • Prior to updating your software, please be sure to have your club settings and game settings written down. We're working on better ways to handle these settings so they are not lost during update, but we have seen instances of where this is happening.
  • Games saved on previous versions will not be playable in version 7.
  • Serial Units will not work with software versions 7.022 or newer and we do not distribute old versions of our software.  Even if you are using a Serial-to-USB Adapter, it will not work.
  • Version 7.025 will be the last version that we support Windows XP for.

Download choices-

  • If you download this All-in-One installer, you do not need to download the individual components as well.  This installer has EVERYTHING you need. (Unless you want the old P3 Golf Software)
  • If you have download the All-in-One previously, you should only need to download the ProGolf application (unless installing on a new computer).


Potential Issues when upgrading from prior version: 


  • Note that Saved games from prior versions do not work in newer versions.
  • Serial Units will not work with software versions 7.022 or newer.
  • Version 7.025 will be the last version that we support Windows XP for.
  • d3dx9_30.dll not found Error or other video issues (i.e. White screens):  This error is caused because your computer does not have the correct version of DirectX.  You can download and install the correct version of DirectX from http://www.sakatasports.com/downloads/DirectX_Installer.exe
  • Starting outside the Tee Box -

If upgrading from a version prior to 6.0, you will need to delete your existing players as they cause the menu bar to not appear and can also cause you to not start in the appropriate location.   To delete all players:


  1. Open the software
  2. Click Options (bottom left corner)
  3. Select Players
  4. Click on the player name
  5. Click 'Delete Player'
  6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 until there are no players left
  7. Click 'Create Player'
  8. follow the prompts to create a new player.

Other potential Issues:


To reset the size of your window after installing:


  1. Click Options
  2. Select Screen Settings
  3. On the right (under Aspect Ratio), click the 'All' box
  4. On the left, select the last Screen Resolution listing (you may need to scroll down)
  5. Click the 'OK' button and the software window should fill your screen
Resetting Game Defaults (for excessive roll or improper camera angles):


  1. Close the software
  2. Click the Windows Start Button
  3. type 'regedit' in the search box and press <ENTER>
  4. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
  5. Delete the folder named P3 ProGolf
  6. Reopen the software and you should be fine.
