The attached document will walk you through how to get your Ball Spin License working if you lost it during update.

NOTE:  This will not work if you installed the software on a new computer.   If you are moving your ProGolf to a new computer, you need to follow the following steps:

First, be sure your new computer meets the system requirements.  Also be sure your sensor unit serial number is above 10000 (has a USB Connection [without using a Serial-to-USB Adapter]).

If you have a ball spin license, you should deactivate the license on the old computer:

  1. You will see a ? above the 2 ball spin balls.   You will need to take a shot to see them.
  2. Click that and it will show your current License ID #.
  3. You'll also see a 'Deactivate License' - click that.
  4.  Then it will be available to be installed on the new computer.

You would want to download and install the following on the new computer:

ProGolf 7

Basic Course Pack

Or you can use the All-in-One installer.

Once you have done that.   You will need to install any course DVDs you received when purchasing your package.    If you are coming from an older version, you may need to reference this Knowledge base Solution.   If you have issues with the Course Files, you could manually move them from C:\Program Files (x86)\P3 ProGolf\Courses folder from the old computer to the new one.

If you're on the current version of the software on the existing computer, you can copy your Player Profiles from Documents/P3 ProGolf/Players to the same location on the new computer.  You can also bring over any of the other folders (no need to bring the LogFiles folder over) if you so desire.   But you MUST be on the same version or Player Profiles & Saved Games will not work.

If you had created your own player icons and/or Ball Logos within the software, you can move those from C:\Program Files (x86)\P3 ProGolf\System\BallLogos & C:\Program Files (x86)\P3 ProGolf\System\CreatePlayer folders.
