There are typically two ways to configure "Mirroring" on a computer. Mirroring is the ability to have one display "Mirror" what another display is showing. (In this case, having the Projector "Mirror" the Monitor.) Here is how to set it up in Windows.
Windows XP:
If you have an nVidia or ATI/AMD graphics card, and the above methods do not work, use the attached document.
Windows XP:
- Right click anywhere on your Desktop
- Select "Properties"
- Click on the "Display" tab
- Select "Duplicate Displays"
Windows Vista
Enjoy your Projector! If for some reason, these did not work, you probably need to use the control panel provided by your Graphics Card manufacturer. The guides for these are located below.
- Right click anywhere on your Desktop
- Select "Personalize"
- Select "Displays" (At the bottom)
- Select "Duplicate" from the drop down menu.
- Click on the "Start" button
- type in "Connect to Projector"
- Hit "Enter" on the keyboard
- Select "Duplicate"
Windows 8/8.1:
- Log on to the Windows 8/Windows 8.1 computer using any account.
- From the Start screen, click the Desktop tile.
- From the desktop window, hover mouse to the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- From the displayed Charms bar, click the Devices option.
- On the Devices pane that appears in the right, click to select the Project option from the displayed list.
- From the displayed list on the Project pane that appears in the right, click the Duplicate option.
Windows 10:
- Click on the 'Start' Button
- Click on the 'Settings' icon (looks like a gear)
- Click on 'System'
- Choose 'Duplicate these Displays' in the 'Multiple Displays' dropdown box
- Click the 'Apply' button
